Audio intercom security systems are commonly used as the first point of access into many buildings. Door entry security systems offer a 2-way conversation to identify the caller, and the occupier presses the release button on the handset to unlock the door, gate or barrier.

Audio intercom security systems are available in variety of formats where the entry panel can be either flush mounted, surface mounted, vandal resistant stainless steel or polished brass.

Commonly, audio intercom systems are supplied as kits compromising:

Intercom security entry combined with door access security control

Door access security systems operate similarly to standard intercom entry security systems, with the added benefit of an access control device on the entry panel. The addition of door access control allows users with a code or a card/key fob to gain door access, while visitors still use the door intercom as their entry security security system.

Many styles of panels can be supplied to accommodate an access control device and it is common to use a keypad, proximity key fob reader.


Video Entry Security Systems

Video entry security systems provide the ability to view the caller from the monitor handset and are commonly used as the first point of access into many buildings.

A video intercom entry security system offers a 2 way conversation where the occupier has to ability to see and hear the visitor, then simply press a release button on the monitor handset to unlock the door, gate or barrier.

As with audio intercom entry security systems, video entry security  systems are available in variety of formats where the entry panel can be either flush mounted, surface mounted, vandal resistant stainless steel or polished brass.

Commonly, video entry security systems are supplied as kits compromising:

Video Door Entry Combined With Access Control Security Systems


These systems work in the same way as standard video entry security systems, except for an entry control device added to the entry panel.

The addition of access control allows selected users to use a code or a card/key fob to gain entry, while other visitors still use the audio intercom to enter. Many styles of panels can be supplied to accommodate an access control device and it is common to use a keypad, proximity key fob reader.
